Once you've uploaded your video content and created players, you need to tie them together, so that the right player displays the right video content. The All Players workspace of the Media module displays all of the players you've created in your account and enables you to assign playlists to the players.

Not all player templates permit you to assign playlists to them. If a player can't accept a playlist, it is labeled in the Media module "Publish videos to this player using Quick Publish or the Brightcove APIs."

When you assign a video or a playlist to a player, you can designated it as featured content. This means that the designated video or playlist will always be the first one to play in that player and will be the first one listed in the player's tabs or video lists. Designate a featured video or playlist by adding .featured to the video ID or playlist ID parameter.

You can use Brightcove's geo-filtering feature to restrict access to content in a player based on the viewer's geographic location. For example, if a player includes content that, for legal reasons, cannot be distributed outside the U.S. and Canada, you can set geo-filtering on your player to keep viewers outside of the approved countries from accessing that content.
