Quick Video Publishing

Sometimes you just want to upload a video and publish it as fast as possible. Brightcove's Quick Video Publishing feature is designed to help you do that. Using Quick Video Publishing, you can select a video in your Media Library and immediately get publishing code to load that video in one of the single-video players in your account. Before you can use this feature, you must first make sure that you have a single-video player in your account. You can create a single-video player using the Video Player template.

To use Quick Video Publishing:

1. In the Media module, select the video you want to publish.
2. In the Details pane on the right side of the screen, click the Get video player code link. A video publishing code section displays:

   

3. Under Select a player, from the drop-down menu, select the player you want to use to publish the video. The Media module displays only the single-video players in your account. You can preview the video in the selected player by clicking the play button.
4. Select Website (for JavaScript code), Blog (for HTML embed code), or URL (for a link to the Video in the player) and click the copy button to copy the publishing code to your clipboard.
5. Paste the publishing code from your clipboard into the location on the web page where you want to publish the video. If you copied the URL, you can also paste it into your web browser's address bar to view the video in the selected player.

You can modify some of the player's behavior using the player's configuration parameters in the publishing code. For example, you'll need to modify the publishing code if you want to enable FMS dynamic streaming or embed a player on an HTTPS web page.
