The Video Player-Ad API Definition (VPAID) is a standard set of APIs from the IAB for the communication between a video player and an advertisement. The VPAID APIs are implemented by a VPAID SWF that can be used in the Video Cloud player. This standard allows for richer ads to be delivered in a standard way.
VPAID SWFs can be delivered to Video Cloud players only through VAST 2.0 XML. Learn more about VAST 2.0. Both linear and non-linear VPAID APIs are now supported.
