The datagrid area displays the videos, playlists, or players in your Video Cloud account. Get to know the datagrid area through the following steps:

The Search field helps you locate the videos, playlists, or players you want to work with. Enter a search word or phrase in the Search field and click the magnifying glass to view the search results. Video Cloud offers standard search and advanced search. Read about the differences between standard and advanced search, how to use them, and how to enable advanced search.
The Details pane displays a quick reference to the properties of the selected video and quick access to the edit page where you can modify the video's properties. You can also click the preview video window in the Details pane to open a preview player that plays the selected video. The preview video window also gives you access to the image capture tool, which you can use to create thumbnail and video still images from frames of the video. Click the Quick Video Publish button to use the Quick Video Publishing feature.

If you enter invalid information while editing a video or playlist in the Media module, the edit field is shaded and outlined in red until you correct the error, and you will not be able to save until you provide valid information.

Note that data validation is limited; we check that a URL has a valid form, but not that a page is returned at that URL.
If you take an invalid action (such as deleting a video that is part of a manual playlist), an error message will be displayed in the bottom right corner of the Media module. You can click on the error message to read more details.
