You can use the Account Settings page in the Brightcove Studio to manage global settings for your Brightcove account.
Note that to access the Account Settings page, you must be a Brightcove Studio user with the Admin role.

To access the Account Settings page:

  1. Sign in to the Brightcove Studio.
  2. Click the Account Settings link at the top right, under the navigation bar.

Depending on your Brightcove account plan, the Account Settings page includes up to five sections:

Publishing Settings

If you are an Admin user, you can use the Account Settings page in the Brightcove Studio to:

  • Set the default viral player for your account. This is the player that is used to play a video when a viewer uses the "Get code" feature in a Brightcove player.
  • Set a custom domain name for your account. You can use a custom domain name to replace link.brightcove.com in the RSS feeds for your players as well as in the links to your players (for example, when a viewer clicks "get link" in your player).

Analytics

  • Enable or disable collection of Analytics information for your videos. Read more.
  • Select which time zone your reports are generated in. The default is Pacific Time (GMT -8:00). Note that this time zone setting affects reports on the Reports page and does not affect data available in the Analytics module.

Transcode Settings

View the default transcode settings Brightcove uses for your account when you upload videos.

Video Fields

View, create, and modify custom metadata fields for your account. Read more.

API Management

View the tokens issued to your account that enable read or write access to your Brightcove media library using the Media APIs. Read more.
